Official NEWS Calendar 2005-2006
Nov. 1st, 2004 03:53 pmI just got my December Myojo on Saturday and confirmed what someone had told me over in the Johnny's Cafe forum.
Shueisha (publisher of Myojo & Duet) is going to put out the official NEWS calendar next year (as with all JE calendars, it'll run the school year, from April 2005 to March 2006). There are two ads in Myojo: one in the table of contents, and a full-page one on page 190.
Things I noticed about their announcement:
1. It's *just* NEWS! They're not sharing the spotlight with other Juniors like last year's Junior calendar.
2. All 8 current members are in the photo accompanying the ad. That means Ryo & Uchi, front & center with the others!
Next month's Myojo (January) will really go all out with even bigger ads.
I showed the ad to the Asahiya Express people and they said what I thought...that it's way too early to order it. We're guessing that we can order starting in January. I think it will be sold by the online retailers as well.
