MOD NOMINATIONS

So as you may or may not be aware of, it's pretty much just been me active here as a mod since...at least June or so? I love news_jpop, and I've been trying my best to run it by myself, but the fact of the matter is that there's just far too much work right now for me to handle by myself. ): So I'm looking for new moderators to help out! :D Here are the requirements (these may or may not be added to as I think of new things hahaha):

☆ You must have a thorough and complete understanding of all the rules.
☆ Since English is the main language of the comm and what us mods communicate in, you must be fluent in it.
☆ You must be available online regularly. This is full-time work - you will have to do this when you're sick, when you're busy, when you've got schoolwork, exams, etc. The retagging that's going on is a major time-sucker (and actually the largest problem ^^;) so you'll have to be prepared for this as well!
☆ We've got over 17000 members, so you'd best be prepared for at least some hate/wank/etc.!
☆ You must be willing to keep in close contact with me and the other co-mods. A large problem we had among the mod team is lack of communication, so I'd like to fix that from the start this time 'round!
☆ If you don't feel you can handle the responsibilities you will be asked to handle for whatever reason, then please don't waste both our times by applying. If, however, you do feel that a moderator's tasks go right up your alley, then by all means, please do! ♥

☆ Nominations will go until February 1st.
☆ After the nomination period's over, I'll be going over all the applications and choosing 2-3 (probably) moderators that I think would suit the job.
☆ I will be staying on as a moderator (sorry, you won't be getting rid of me for a while yet!).
☆ If the new moderators aren't doing so hot (hopefully this doesn't happen!), I can and will warn and/or de-mod them as needed. In that case, then it's back to the nominations and/or a new set of nominations!

☆ ALL APPLICATION-RELATED COMMENTS WILL BE SCREENED.

What if I just want to help with the retagging?
Do I have to apply as a mod?

Um, I'm going to say yes and no. If you're interested, please fill out the form (it's also kind of how I get to know a little about the person you are) but just make a note at the bottom that you're only interested in helping with the retagging.
