[Troubleman] International Premiere presented by Japan Society, NY

Hey, since I've been waiting for others to post information about this~



Shige's "Troubleman" is being presented in NYC's Japan Society's film series from Director SABU. This would be the first time Troubleman would be presented outside of Japan so this is considered it's international premiere! It is being shown on Saturday February 5th 2011 at 5PM in the Japan Society.

I really enjoyed watching Troubleman as a drama, and I can't wait to see Shige on the big screen (and hear Be Funky and Forever!)! It would be awesome to see some Shige and NEWS fans make it out for this film (being condensed into movie length)! I know my friends and I are gonna check it out! If anyone wants to do a MEETUP or anything, it'd be awesome!

Sabu's latest work, written for TV and presented for the first time outside Japan, stars Shigeaki Kato as Kazuo Tokuda, an insurance agent whose life is turned topsy-turvy when he gets thrust into a web of mystery and intrigue involving murderers, would-be rapists and a gang of (angry) yakuza! As things turn out, trouble is nothing new for this man, who might just be the very embodiment of bad luck.

that's fantastic; I am so glad that Sabu's films and Shige as the lead in Troubleman will get more attention. I loved Troubleman, and I imagine will work quite well as a long film ..only 3 hours or so! And I guess this also means Be Funky will be heard in New York as well :) Yay Shige and News!

i admit i didn't have any expectations watching Troubleman because i've always found Shige's acting kinda awkward but i found myself really liking the drama. i say Shige was perfect for the role, and it got me interested until the end. well, it's Sabu after all XD
not only will it expose Shige, but NEWS too! :DD

This is really great news!
Troubleman is a really good drama and Shige's acting there is praiseworthy.
