edit: i dont think yamapi is super happy about this. i bet it was a crazy tough decision. i think in his comment he wanted to be positive instead of making fans sadder, i think thats something he would do as a leader for the last time. im also upset that he decided to leave, but dont hate on pi.

After reading Tegoshi's message I feel really sad, he wants to apologize for it, something I believe isn't his fault. :(

No idea what to think about this...
I understand Ryo's reasons a little. I've always wondered how he can be in two groups and still have something like a private life.
But Yamapi... one of the users before me said it's like Yamapi is happy that he's finally out and I agree... it seems like he didn't even care that Ryo quit too, because he said that the 5 members will be good rivals. It's like he couldn't care any less.
I was happy to read Tegoshi apologizing to his fans, though.. not because I think he's at fault or something but because it shows that he thought about it from our point of view.

I agree. Though I also feel that Yamapi does have ambitions to become a solo superstar, I don't think it's really his decision altogether. I mean, if he really wanted to just leave NEWS, he could have done it a long time ago. No need to say "Please wait for us. We will never betray you." Because it will hurt the fans, and if he hurts the fans, then obviously he can't expect their support. Even if he's aiming to get famous in another land, I still don't think it'll be a good image for him, and I believe he's not that stupid to not know that. Furthermore, I don't think he'll be that disrespectful to the NEWS fans after all their support for them. There must be something else that triggered his decision.

It's so ironic how each of them used to hate the time they were together in the beginning, some even thinking of quitting NEWS and now when they're all bonded, they're splitting up ): I don't know why Pi gave in so easily though. He was the one who gave us his promise, telling us to wait for NEWS. Tegoshi's most admired sempai turned out to be someone like that?

From now onwards, I will support 4-nin NEWS, forever and ever.

I just feel that it's gonna be tough for the four of them, covering RyoPi's lines in sooo many years of songs. I wonder if they can keep up their Oricon single No. 1 streak too.

i bet it was tough, and they talked about it for a looong time. i personally dont get why pi had to leave news either, i prefer pi in a group over solo, and i hate the decision, but i know it wasnt a simple decision and something he took lightly

I knew this would happen so I wasn't shocked nor got annoyed. But I can't stop crying.
And even when they leave NEWS, I will still love them and support the new NEWS and Yamashita and Ryo. And I believe that Yamapi has his reason to leave NEWS, not "Now I'm free yeah!" or things like that. I don't think YamaPi is that bad.

Tegoshi's words made me cry. Apologizing! ;_; I feel really sad for what happened, but let's wish the best for the 4 who are staying and support them, as well as the two who are leaving. I hope now things have been decided, NEWS releases something soon.

I kind of know that this day will come..but its worse than I thought. I thought they will never give up, especially Ryo. Well, I think, Pi is getting laid back from the last few years, it's like he's working hard, yes. But it's not the old Pi I know... I wish Pi did not give up. Well, but if he is focusing on his own career, (not going to mention Jin ok?) it's good for him.

On the other hand Ryo, (I'm Gachapin's look a like fan, yes, yes, Ryo) worked hard on both K8 & NEWS. I sometimes read other comments like, its Ryo's fault..its Pi's fault, NO ITS NOT. Definitely not Johnny-san also XD Bec those 3 worked their asses off to bring us smiles on our faces. :)

All 6 JEs we love will be in a difficult situation...but,
Positive thing? TegoMasu & KoyaShige will shine MORE from now on. NEWS can work hard AGAIN. Pi can have a successful SOLO career. Ryo wont be stressed as before.

Negative? Us fans will miss the 6 of them :(
Remember, it's not US fans are the only ones who are heartbroken. The whole Johnny's family.. Remember Arashi saying that they almost cried bec NEWS made their comeback last 2007?

So, its not the end... Bec they're still Johnny's (& my post is SO long) and they're still acquaintances..LET US HOPE FOR THE SUCCESS OF THEIR CHOSEN PATH. Accept this. That way our boys will stay sexy healthy happy & rest assured. :D

Your comment makes me feel a bit better about all this. I'm anxious to see how will this new 4-member NEWS be. And they'll actually go back to DOING stuff, releasing stuff, touring, etc.

It's really sad, but maybe it happened for the best? They can all focus on their own activities now. And now at least we know what's been decided, we're not lost in the dark like before, hoping for a new release out of nowhere when clearly Yamapi was aiming for something else and Ryo was way too busy with Kanjani.

Let's just keep on supporting them!! =)

I'm starting to hate Yamapi a little now (even though I'm trying not to do so), but it's his choice, it's his life afterall, there is nothing we can do

for Ryo, he must have been really tired being in 2 groups for years & he also had dramas, private life etc., plus Osaka is his hometown afterall, maybe that's also 1 reason why he chose Kanjani over NEWS

from now on let's support the remaining 4, and I really hope this group will stay long (just like V6 & Arashi, maybe?)

My week hasn't been a good one, and my weekend is just totally ruined by now.
I don't know what to say or feel. One side I want to blame Pi and Ryo, another side I want to think that this is actually a good decision.
But my heart won't even choose.. deep down I know this is one piece of news that is hard to accept.

For now, all I could say is I am thankful to Kei, Shige, Massu and Tego to keep believing in NEWS, cause as a fan I love them for making me smile while seeing them and listening their songs. At least now we know who really love NEWS, it's US (fans) and Our 4 everlasting members <3
