Well those have been around for sometimes now but I just felt like publishing them together.

Hello everyone.
This is Nishikido.
Just like the news reported, I’m not in NEWS anymore.
There could be a lot of people who were shocked, but this is a painful decision I have made after some thought.
From debut I have been shuffling around, schedule problem, around with 2 groups, I would have caused trouble for both groups ultimately. I have been troubled with regards to this.
Everyone have been supporting the Nishikido who was in NEWS, I am really thankful.
Now, as the Nishikido Ryo of Kanjani8, I will continue to work hard. Therefore I hope I still can get the support of everyone.
On the other hand, the new NEWS by Koyama, Kato, Masuda and Tegoshi, please do support them from now.

To all the fans who supported NEWS.
I'm sorry if I caused sad thoughts with my decision. It was a decision that I took after lot of thinking and worrying. 
In the end we took two slighty different paths but I want NEWS members and my fans to feel good, I want them to stay hopeful, my feeling haven't changed. 
I think that from now on I'll experience difficulties I've never felt before, I want to cherish the experiences I had with NEWS activities and do my best.
The rail is different but I want us to be nice rivals and be a stimulus to each others. 
Then, I want to give to all my fans the best of times, I will pile up and do my very best at each work. 
Thank you for following me. Then, I'm thankful to the members who understood my decision.
From tomorrow I'll write the diary again!

And this is about a current situation not someone who has left 6 yers ago.
My post is not about the EX-MEMBERS but about the SITUATION.

at least Yamapi finally apologize, because I've been waiting for that :) I don't think he made wrong decision by leaving NEWS, because it's his own life and as a fan, we need to support whatever path he choose. I was hoping that he will apologize to the fans whose heart has broken by him because a lot of people complain how he didn't show any apologetics in his comment before, and finally he did now... I feel somewhat relieved :)

For whatever reason I can't really stay mad at you Yamashita-san. I'm disappointed but it's ok.

Ryo and the all "It was too hard to be in two bands" reason on the other hand is pissing me of hardcore. But I'll just let it slide and get on with it. In the end, it's all a choice and what's done is done.

Get on, smile, and look forward. We'll be fine with the magic four :). And as the french kings would say: "NewS is dead, Long live NewS!"

I'm glad Yamapi left a good message this time. It was a good and understandable one.

I was touched by Koyama's and Ryo's. I think the decision was really tough one for them all. And Ryo really worked his a** off during the last years.
I'm glad to hear that they discussed it well. And they still seem to support each other - this would make me really glad. I love News after all.

I think the only thing I'm enjoying right now is Koyama's attitude about everything. I hope Tego and Massu make some comments regarding this situation on Tegomass Tour. Good comments for an ending...I don't think I have that much time to follow 2 different groups and a solo idol from now on so I decided that all my free time will go to the 4member News plus my favorite Tegomasu ^_^. I'll probably hear news of Yamapi when he gets some activity just because he stands out a lot, but for me Ryo doesn't really stand out in Kanjani.But oh well...I'm too anxious for some News activity so I'm ready to get over this if they'll have more activities from now on. Maybe all this will bring something good.I'm so selfish XD I can't deny it! lol

Honestly...I think News wasn't really well-balanced. I mean, Pi was really really popular. The gap towards the other members - also Ryo - was huge. Ryo could still follow somehow. But for some of the others it might have always stayed difficult.
I LOVE NEWS. Really! I so loved the 6 of them together <3 But maybe now they have the chance to be equal?

As for Kanjani: Ryo shines there too. Just that Kanjani is a group that always watched out for its members to shine (almost) equally.
And sometimes - but I might be wrong - I had the feeling that Ryo doesn't want to stand out that much. Because he definitely could if he wanted to. He also only went solo once. It's my opinion now: But I think Ryo likes to be in a group, he likes to be around people he knows, he is too shy to stand in the middle all alone, he enjoys it that Yoko for example is talkative (or in News that Koyama was the one being a gorgeous talker)

I like it when groups are well-balanced. And I hope that News will be like that. (though I might start flailing over Tegoshi XD)

new news activities man. i can't wait. hope the media wun be too harsh on tegomass when they go on shows to promote their new album - they had enough already.

and though it is really expected of yamapi to go solo especially when his best friend has already done it. i can't help but to feel disappointed with his decision since his solo isn't good (to me.) hope his next album can be much better than the super autotuned sgsb stuff. though his voice isn't good, i must say he doesn't need to rely on autotune that much.

i highly doubt i will continue supporting his music; it sounds rather outdated to me. but of course surprise me yamashita tomohisa! :D

for ryo.... well i wish him all the best. never like kanjani's music but love their dorkiness on shows. ryo has to be more open from now on though haaaah. more dorky ryo from now on. :D

for me it somehow wasn't a surprise that Yamashita would leave the group. he did do a solo tour in Asia, and let me point out that I didn't see any other members on stage with him. he did his own single/album and had a duet with Namie Amuro releasing UNUSUAL. though I say this it wouldn't mean that he has been the only one doing that, since Yamashita had a duet single with Kamenashi Kazuya for Nobuta wo Produce.

Nishikido is right. I won't blame him for feeling tied up between two bands, and since he has been starring in quite a few dramas lately I'm not surprised that he just wants a break. I know some here may disagree with me on that but I've been in situations where I just couldn't do both things at once. and therefore I left one to pursue the other.

I'm not angry at them, I am sad about them leaving NEWS since they have been together for so long. but if they think it's for the best, and I'm sure in their mind they know that NEWS will pull through as 4. Koyama, Kato, Tegoshi, and Masuda are very great people and are professionals. they may not show their pain but they are showing their support to not just now former members, but as life-long friends.

In regards to Yamapi, he was doing more solo events so this wasn't that surprising but Ryo's decision I did not find sincere at all. He's always had scheduling conflicts. He's been in NEWS for 8 yrs and now it's a problem? I believe that Ryo wasn't going to stay in the group w/o Yamapi; Ryo was always Pi this Pi that. He didn't have the same camaraderie with the other members that he had with Yamapi and that was clear to everyone.

personally i liked the News group as a whole. i rarely liked solos made by them except a few. the decision made by ryo in my opinion is reasonable, with his totally busy schedule, not to mention in dividing priority between the 2 groups (soo, probably tegoshi and massu may also quit news due to tegomas right?LOL)..im not quite sure of yamapi though, his situation is different.plus he's was the leader!this is really sad. there's also a possibility that ryo quit because yamapi quit (well the 2 are close and always seem to be together)..

oh well, if they're ok with that then why should we object.if we force them to stay together they probably wont put their hearts to what they are doing. lets see what will happen next.and so the story continues...

it's kinda late and I don't know if anyone still wants this, but I decided to translate Pi's message because the one posted is a little hard to understand. No offence to spilledmilk!

I tried to keep the wording and sentence structure similar to the original in order to best convey the feeling behind his entry. Hopefully now people will understand better.

To everyone who has been supporting NEWS,
Because of my decision, if I have regrettably caused you pain (lit. sad thoughts), I am sorry.
For myself, this was a decision made after much worry and thought.

Even though we will now be moving forward on slightly different paths, the feelings that both the NEWS members and I have - to bring energy/cheer and hope to the fans - are the same.

From now on it may be that I will face difficulties which, up till now, I have not faced before. Even so, I want to use the experience I have gained through NEWS activites and continue working hard. (lit. I want to go forward working hard)

The rail (by this I believe he means path/road) is different but, from now on too I'd like it if we could push each other forward (lit. stimulate) as friendly rivals.

And from here on, in order to bring to you, the fans, an even more enjoyable time than you've experienced thus far, I will tackle each and every single job with everything I've got.

For watching (ie, looking after) me, thank you very much. And to the members who were able to understand my decision, I am grateful.

From tomorrow onwards I will write a Jweb again ^^

- To me the overall tone is regretful but determined. Regretful about the hurt he's caused everyone with his decision but still determined to pull through with it no matter what happens. This entry expresses his desire to move forward and his (cautious) optimism for the future.
