Johnny's Countdown?

Hi. Just wanted to ask if there are news about the Countdown? Any news if NEWS or Pi and Ryo will be participating? I'm crossing my fingers that they at least show up even if they don't sing or anything.

Seeing that they aren't suspended this time, I suppose they will be appearing and probably even singing.

It's really sad to see that they didn't appear on NTV's Best Artist and Music Station Super Live this year because they haven't released anything this year at all, so they probably weren't really worth inviting compared to other artists.

But seeing that the Countdown is an event for the entire Johnny's Entertainment and there's nothing really big or sensitive to stop them from performing, I think that they will just appear like other years. If Johnny-san allowed them to continue as 4-members I suppose he won't stop them from appearing on the Countdown.

Well, that's what I think, and hope. Hopefully I'm right. And hopefully the Countdown will be the first performance they will be doing together as the new NEWS.

P.S. I think Ryo will just be in Osaka with Kanjani8 as usual. He's always there. Even with NEWS he always sticks to Kanjani8 in Kyocera Dome. I'm not sure about Pi. He'll probably be around singing a few songs as a solo artist, but was Jin around last year? Maybe they'll come up with some reasons for him to not appear if they can't slot him anywhere. Usually solo artists who appear on the Countdown are huge stars like Matchy-san or something.

No worries, though I really hope new NEWS will get to sing. It will be so sad if I don't hear any NEWS songs during the New years. The countdown has always been a program I'm excited to watch as I get to see them just singing and having fun with fellow Johnnys.

Yamapi released an album so maybe he'll sing a few songs. Daite Senorita seems to be a constant as well as Seishun Amigo so I'm quite positive he might sing. Though I'm really excited to see the newNEWS sing the songs, they still have TegoMass so I'm sure the harmony will be great still.

Though I'm really hoping they get to sing a NEWS song all together, but I know its a really slim chance. I keep remembering wishing every year that they at least let Uchi sing with them, but alas.

I actually agree with this post overall.
Regarding the Jin question... he wasn't there last year. I don't remember correctly, but maybe (just maybe) he was in LA during that time therefore he couldn't make it back.
As for Pi, I know he just recorded something in LA, Route 99? ... or was it 66. That will be airing in Jan but I haven't heard anything about Pi appearing on countdown since he's now a soloist.

THERE IS a chance because Uchi Hiroki and Ikuta Toma is usually on it. So, I can't really guarantee anything, but there is that chance. (:

jin was there last year, he just didn't go on to stage 'coz he hadn't release anything as a solo artist that year.
there were also some people withness him with pi at a temple, praying around one o'clock that night.

and for pi, who else gonna sing seishun amigo with kame then if he'd be there.

or that was just a excuse so that jin and kat-tun won't be at the same room or it was actually true, we have a very little chance to see NEWS at countdown since they released nothing this year :(

I'm just following the logic from your statement, don't get offended. If it was any other group I'd say the same, it's not because both groups lost a member that i'm saying that. Not at all.

If Jin or any other Johnny didn't go to countdown because didn't release anything, why the agency would be different with News? That's what I meant.

and i'll say this again "news will be at the countdown concert or not we'll see in 19 days", there's no need to think about it when we don't have a say in what johnny's staffs have decised.

if it was to assure fans that news is still around like 2006-2007 countdown then you'd see news on the stage.

they may not be in the same group together, but that doesn't mean that they can't even stand to be in the same room together.

Does any NEWS member talk about Kusano or Uchi or their old times with them? Nope, because Johnny doesn't allow that. SMAP only talks about Mori, because they are like the ''rebels'' from the agency. That's what I meant from my statement. I doubt JE would let kat-tun and jin be at the same room and not that the group don't want to see jin anymore and vice-versa.

johnny can't prevent his boys from talking to each other in private, only infront of the media.

even johnny doesn't have power to say 'hey,you, don't go near him/them', it's a basic human right
when they are in backstage, they're all talking and laughing to each other, don't tell me you've never seen any back stage footage
the rooms that have each band on it are just where to put their bags/things inside, and it's not like they'd in their rooms all the time.
yamapi was often found in kat-tun's room ever since when he was still a junior, still in 4top, or when even when he was in news (and he was with kat-tun's members even though jin was not there anymore)

and, oh, i almost forgot, last year when jin was having a triumph party or something, i don't really remember its name, nakamaru was there, on the stage with him, they even sang loose yourself together
there you go, kat-tun and jin in the same room together and in front of media too.

anyway, this is nonsense.
think whatever you like 'coz we'll see if jin, news, kat-tun and yamapi will be at the countdown or not in 18 days, so there's no need to think too much about it, it's business after all.

i have other things to do than worry about things that are not in my control.

The program "Yamashita Tomohisa Route 66~ Lone man's America" is a documentary recorded this summer. Actualy Yamapi recording the drama. The drama will begin airing from January 12th, 2012. Uchi Hiroki is a Jr and playing with the "Question?" so he probably won't be in the countdown.

I guess Ryo will be there together with the Kanjani Guys (in Osaka) and i think NEWS will be there too but this is just a feeling. In Pi´s case i´m not sure, i don´t think he will apear *sight*
I would love to see all of them there includes Jin but i guess this won´t happen -.-

I heard that Pi will not appear on the countdown this year, he will be spending the new years eve in shanghai (still not confirmed). But with everything that has happened, I don't think he will appear on the JE countdown. *sigh* :)

I think NEWS would appear seeing that they're a part of the JE family. But the question is, what song would they sing if they don't even have any releases this year? :(

They probably wont have too much of an introductory song. You know how the countdown is; all the bands come up and sing before they start the countdown. NEWS probably wont get that spotlight, I imagine they'll just be around singing backup with other bands singing random songs.

Most likely 4人 NEWS will be part of Countdown. Even when Tackey & Tsubasa were on hiatus they performed. Who knows maybe NEWS be the ones who does the preshow before the broadcast.

Ryo & KJ8 will participate via satellite since they will be in Osaka.

Wew.. I just hoped that NEWS, yamapi , and ryo will perform. Even if it's via satellite and all. Wish that all the fans attending the countdown will support all of the NEWS member.. It'll give them a big morale boost.
