Question/Request - Tickets for Tokyo 8/14
Aug. 6th, 2012 05:23 pmHi guys, I hope it's allowed to post this here but since I am in a hurry I didn't have time to check up on it.
I am desperately looking for 2 tickets for Tokyo on the 14th. If anyone has left overs or knows where we can get one, I would really appreciate your help. The ones I have seen so far are ridiculously high priced...
We're in until 30,000 Yen (~400$), anything above isn't in our budget anymore.
Thank you in advance!

Date: 2012-08-06 06:50 pm (UTC)Gorakudoh has a site so it's possible to check prices online: bit.ly Q5tfJf (replace space with /)

Date: 2012-08-08 07:00 am (UTC)But if you're in Japan now I'd recommend to try luck with ticket.co.jp, their choice is wider. Kobe is the cheapest venue so far.
If you're not in Japan and have no one in the country to help you, you can use celga services. They are bit slow but I managed to get tickets from ticket.co.jp and Yahoo auction last November.

Date: 2012-08-10 12:52 am (UTC)Do you know usually how long would it take? The show I want to attend is the one in Sapporo on Sept. 30, and I'm leaving for Japan on the 26th and I'm not sure if it would arrive at my home address in time. Also just a rough estimate how much did it cost your for your previous tickets?

Date: 2012-08-13 03:41 am (UTC)Usually original seller of tickets gets them in at least 10 days prior to concert date, after that he will send them to celga, and then they'll send to you. Post works really good in Japan, so I'm pretty sure that tickets would come to home address even earlier than 3 days prior to concert.
As for cost, it depends upon several things. First of all is of course how much are you willing to pay for a ticket. You want one ticket, not pair, right?
Price for Hokkaido con starts from 15000yen (noon concert)/ 27000 (evening, all last of all tour). Current celga exchange rate is ¥73 to $1, so it'll be 205 / 370 USD for a ticket.
Fees will be $2 for bank wire transfer fee), about $5 for internal shipping from seller to celga, celga fee for transaction $20/$30 (if purchase is between 10k and 20k yen/ between 20k and 30k), and $7 for shipping from celga to your address in Japan. So total would be about 240/415 USD for a ticket.
I should warn you, that they don't reply to mails immediately, sometimes it takes 5-6 hours. When buying from ticket.co time is important, so if you want to get certain tickets (to say, you want arena/first rows at stands, and found good deal at the site) you most likely won't be able to do it though them, they are too slow. But if you're fine with tickets with seat that isn't defined yet, you can just tell them price range (ie "I want ticket for *insert name&date of certain show there* for 17000yen max") that would be fine. They can bid for you at yahoo auctions too, and I was really pleased with their work with auctions.

Date: 2012-08-07 02:54 am (UTC)IDK if you know, there is other ticket shop, Yokohama Ticket, but so far I haven't seen NEWS tix on their site (and YT has poorer choice for Johnny's shows in general). But you can check that site anyway, maybe they'll start selling them.
