My friend just send me this:
"[UNCONFIRMED] according to TegoMass no Radio, NEWS or Tegomass might be singing the official song for TOYOTA FIFA Club World Cup"
Did someone listen Tegomass no radio recently and heard something like that?
If it's confirmed it would be so great ^^

So...I listened to the show yesterday...and they spoke about the new single and about the TOYOTA FIFA Club World Cup, but I don't think that NEWS or Tegomass will sing for TOYOTA FIFA Club World Cup. So...they didn't spoke about it yesterday ^^
But that would be really cool^^

I think towards the end of the show Tegonyan mentioned something like "since I'm the main MC already, maybe we'd be asked for a song."　And he said fans can look forward to it. I guess he's hoping for it too? :P

If they are asked, I don't know who I want to see get the offer more. It would be really great for NEWS because they seriously need the exposure. They deserve another "big break" so that they'll be known for something else besides just NEWS Nippon and weeek. Chankapaana was really popular here (a bunch of my students know, love and sing the song whenever I'm around), but this would be even bigger than that.

At the same time I don't want Tegomasu to always take a back seat. I really appreciate that Tegoshi and Massu put their focus on NEWS this year, even at the expense of not being able to do much else musically, and if they chose to go this year without a single, I don't think they'd suffer for it, BUT since this is something big for Tegoshi, it would be nice to see Tegomasu get this opportunity too.

I just think maybe NEWS needs it more.

I totally agree with you. I'm a fan of both (since my ultimate bias is Tego-nyan) but I also think that NEWS needs it more.
