Hey!
I may sound dumb for asking such a thing. I`m curious about buying concert ticket as a foreign fan. How is it working? Do I need to be a fanclub member to be able to attend their concerts?
Thank you for your answers in advance, and I wish all of you a rich-of-NEWS Happy New Year! o/

If you wanna get a ticket with the price written on their homepage then you have to be a fanclub member (just to get a chance to win the tickets).
But if money is not really a big problem, you can go to some ticket shops (there's a big one in Harajuku) and get one. But the price is about 30000~60000JPY depending on seats or venues, or their popularity.
Hope this will help :D

There's also non fanclub tickets called PG (play guide) tickets that are slightly more expensive but cheaper than resale tickets. They're hard to get though as they are sold over the phone so unless you know someone in Japan that can call for you it's not one of the more feasible options for foreign fans. The most common way for foreign fans not in the fanclub is to get resale tickets through ticket[dot]co[dot]jp. Like the commenter above said they can be marked up quite a bit depending on the artist and venue. There are several fans that run ticket services that can help you buy tickets from the website. You can check out [livejournal.com profile] je_sales for those that offer that service. There is a risk with resale tickets though. Often you would be buying a resale fanclub ticket that has someone else's name on the ticket. Venue staff don't usually check the tickets all that carefully but there is that small chance you could be denied entry. For NEWS, I think you would be ok on the most part.

I've never bought PG tickets directly so I don't know the process or what payment methods are accepted. Sorry about that! I imagine the tickets sell out very quickly regardless of what the seat is. Tickets for a particular venue will go on sale on a particular date and time, and a lot of people will try to call at the same time which is why I think it will be quite difficult to get tickets this way even for those in Japan.

Hi! I watched last year and got my ticket through resale at ticket co jp. The tickets don't get sold out that fast but yes the ticket prices go as high up as 100,000 yen for arena seats :< It was the only way for me though so I settled with a resold ticket that's within my budget. I bought them after the seats have been revealed already, so I know what I'm paying for :)) The website does not accept non-Japanese credit cards though, so I had to get them through a ticket service. The process was smooth, got my tickets at the hotel and attended the con with no problems. They don't check IDs at the entrance so I was able to get in even with a ticket that does not have my name on it.

So sorry for the late reply! Awww that's too bad! :< Yes it's really difficult to be a foreign fan especially if you don't have any contacts in Japan. I hope they find a way to make it easier somehow, maybe someday...
