NewS 15th Year Anniversary

Hi all
I know it's abit early.. but I'm wondering if anybody is keen to go to NewS 15th Year Anniversary Con next year  (is my calculations correct :P?)
Seeing that they are having their concert now.. I'm expecting it to be Autumn/Winter Con next year.

Obviously, the plane tix and everything will have to be bought after the announcements are up but it's best to plan and save now.
Especially, after looking at some of the prices here...

Is anyone looking to go to smaller venues? I'm keen but not wanting to go alone coz I get lost quite easily..

I would think if NEWS has a concert tour next year they are more likely to be touring during Spring and early Summer as they are now - with the Tokyo Dome concerts being last and called the 'anniversary' whenever they are. Johnnys isn't fussy about actual dates.

Have you seen or heard something to say that any tour next year would be moved to the end of the year?

Not read any news specifically, just based on JE album release pattern.. usually the anniversary albums release at mid year that's all..

The NEWS album in 2013 was released just before the tour, as have all their albums in the past 8 or 9 years because they're the basis for the tour. I can't talk about other groups, and I don't know which group you're referring to, though I know Kat-tun's 10th anniversary album came out about the same time as their tour in March last year.

And one thing we've learnt as NEWS fans is that what other groups do has very little bearing on what opportunities come the way of NEWS. We're still waiting for them to get a regular, ongoing weekly tv show.

But as with anything, we just wait week to week hoping that something will be announced or the members will hint very strongly that something is coming. And they're really going to have to do that if like you expect, we get to July or August next year still without any tour or album being announced. We have gone through a number of years, most recently 2014, where NEWS had no tour at all.

I still remain hopeful.. yet to see JE to miss an anniversary hype...

I've an open 2018 calendar at the moment and totally blanked out all my usual vacation plans for their concert.. obviously which we HOPE will happen

I'm sooo interested to go for their concert, but like you, I don't want to go alone and feel lost.

If they do have a concert next year, then I'd be keen to go =)

Hmm...from their 2015-2017 tours, it seems like they'll falling into a pattern of holding spring tours, starting from arenas and ending at the Tokyo Dome. No telling if they'll change the pattern to coincide with their anniversary though (keeping fingers crossed that there will be events).

I'll definitely be aiming to go for the Tokyo Dome concert, and if schedule/ budget permits, one of the arenas too. The difference in distance is really significant, plus atmosphere's completely different too. Their resale tickets seem to be getting more and more expensive each year as well, which I'd like to take positively as a sign of their rising popularity, so the only thing we can do now is really to save up. Because we probably won't hear anything till maybe early next year? And there isn't anything we can do in the meantime.

Will love to go together if our schedules meet, but let's see how things go when the announcements are out! :)

I'm also super interested on going to one of the concert with some of you :) ! I already went to one of their concert alone in the past and even if the atmosphere was great, beeing alone wasnt funny at all :( ... Don't know what my situation will be next year neither if i can go yet, but i'll work hard to make it work (whenever the concerts will be) :).

Hope it isn't too late to say this but I made plans to be in Japan in September 2018 for News' 15th anniversary. I'm unsure if they will host a concert or not but decided 5 years ago that I'm committed and doing it! So if you guys form a plan or a group, I would like to be a part if it isn't too much trouble. I been to 2 of their concerts by myself but would like to fan girl together with other News fans!! My Japanese isn't good enough to hold a conversation quite yet.

Depending if they have a spring/ summer concert, may need to save up for 2 trips lol
