• NEWS will be appearing on an NTV programme, “Okusama wa Kamisama” on 31 Oct. It'll be a variety where NEWS will step into the unknown adult world of wives.  The 4 members of NEWS will be facing off with wives with strong personalities in the studio, for instance the rapidly increasing ‘new type of wife’, or the ‘infidelity’ that enriches society, or the ‘wife terrorism’ taking revenge on husbands. Tegoshi is quoted as saying, “I think that people who are very particular about something, or live totally entranced by something must be very happy. I really love those kind of positive people. There may be wives who exceed expectations, are unbelievably amazing, or even beyond what I can comprehend, so I'm looking forward to see the kind of people we'll meet.” The official site is here. • The performance of this month’s Shounen Club Premium, airing on October 20th, will be produced by Tegoshi. On October 11th, Juon who wrote ‘Black Fire’ and performed with NEWS on SCP before, tweeted and posted on his instagram about participating in ‘ROCK’N ROLL PARTY Ⅱ’ and that they performed ‘Black Fire’. • Koyama will be appearing on 19 Oct’s episode of “Tetsuko no Heya”. The description on the website reads:
  
  “His gratitude towards his mother who raised him single-handedly
  
  Koyama Keiichiro, of the idol group ‘NEWS’, has works as an actor and newscaster and has activities in many other fields as well. When he was in 5th grade in elementary school, his parents got divorced and his mother raised him alone while managing a ramen shop. He reveals that prior to his parents’ divorce, when things became awkward in their family, it was none other than Koyama himself that encouraged the divorce, wanting his mother to be able to live freely as she wished. He discusses feeling that responsibility as a child, and how since that time and even now, he ‘continues to think that he has to make his mother happy.’” (Source 1 2)




• The long version trailer for “Juyou Sankonin Tantei” has been released on 14 Oct (Source)




• On October 14th, there was a press conference event for Koyama’s drama, “Juyou Sankonin Tantei”, in Roppongi with the 3 main leads and some of the other actors. They talked about working out in preparation for their roles, and Koyama talked about getting bigger in the shoulder area and how his clothes don’t fit well anymore. At the end, they had a fashion showdown, with Koyama, Tama, and Furukawa making outfits from clothes on on stage, changing in front of the audience in a box where they were only visible from their necks up,and then walking down a runway. At the end the 3 of them did the ‘Buruzon Chiemi with B’ pose with Tama at the center. Through a vote by their costars, Koyama was the winner of the fashion showdown. (Source)

  • Masuda Takahisa’s Sports Day

  
  

  • He wrote about how he thought he had to write something when he found out it was “Sports Day” (a public holiday) in Japan that day. He then shared the usual story again of how he went to school for just lunch break and sports classes. The school sports day was his favourite day in a year. Though now, he’d probably be more aware of the atmosphere and work hard at getting people hyped up. Maybe even join in the producing. He was also the anchor runner for the relay each time, and Masuda was a star. He then ended off saying that it probably didn’t rain in the entire nation that day, so for those who had their sports day that day, them (and their parents) worked hard! To those who don’t enjoy sports day, try to have fun too!

  
  



• MADE in Omakase (10 Oct)

  
  

  • Shige was mentioned in Fukushi’s entry. Fukushi said he went to watch Shige’s play and said that it was a play that makes people think a lot even after the play. Shige was also almost on stage all the time so it must have been hard with the lines and all, so there was a lot for Fukushi to learn. He asked everyone to please watch it too. After the play, he went for a meal with Shige together with Kento (MADE), Noeru (Travis Japan) and Haruki (Johnny’s Jr). It was fun as they haven’t had a meal together in a while. He thanked Shige for always taking them to delicious and stylish places. He hopes to keep contacting Shige often.

  • Koyama wrote about filming for his drama and playing cards with Tama and Araki Yuko. He said that he was able to find some time to go to the gym and shared a picture of his gloves and gym locker key.

  • It was Tegoshi’s turn to update

  
  

  • He said he’s been doing a lot of things recently and that he was just in New York a few days back. There should still be a few chances for him to travel so he’s looking forward to that. To continue the word chain, he chose license (raisensu). He definitely wants the wine sommelier license, then also the scuba diving license, boat license… He also mentioned how it’s now a tough time for Napa Valley. As he’s had a lot of work in America and Napa Valley is his favourite wine production area, he’s really worried. Hopefully there aren’t any casualties for those staying nearby. He then talked about turning 30 briefly, and this might be his last RING in his 20s. If so, please take care of the 30 year old him too! He ended off to say he produced SCP this time so please watch.

  • Koyama was mentioned briefly in Nakayama Yuma’s entry when he wrote on appearing in “Juyou Sankonin Tantei”. And the last time they worked together was probably when he back danced for NEWS.

  • He wrote about going to dinner with Tama recently. He said that he was happy that Tama invited him out and that next time he wants to go with Furupon too. He said that Tama’s been calling him pai-sem and he’s generally been calling him either Tama or Tama-chan, and Furupon’s been properly using the nicknames they decided on. He shared a picture of some of his personal items and items for filming, including his script, mirror, pouch, and glasses.

  
  

• On October 10th, Gai-san wrote on twitter that he went to go see Shige in Green Mile. He praised Shige’s acting and the play, saying it was serious but well worth watching. Also in attendance on the 10th, was Sakamoto Masayuki (V6), Nakajima Yuto (Hey!Say!JUMP), and Yoshida Saori.
  
  The previous week on the 5th, Kikuchi Fuma and Matsushima Sou (Sexy Zone) also went to see the play.
  
  On the 12th, Okamoto Keito (Hey! Say! JUMP!) went to watch the play.
  
  On the14th, air:man, NEWS’ choreographer, tweeted about seeing seeing ‘Shige Hanks’. (Source 1 2 3 4 5)




• On October 12th, Yamapi talked about Tegoshi on his radio show. He talked about ItteQ, saying that the way he’s teased on the show is really funny and it makes him laugh every week. He also mentioned how Tegoshi hasn’t changed at all and that he’s the same both on and off the TV. (Source)




• On October 13th, it was announced that a part of the Juyo Sankonin Tantei Original Goods would be sold exclusively on 7net. (Source)




• Jinnai Tomonori tweeted on Friday (October 13th) about his appearance with Massu on Netapare, and then with KoyaShige on News na Futari, saying that it basically makes him Tegoshi. (Source)

So many updates! I'm looking forward to lot of things! I hope someone can sub Okusama wa Kamisama, the theme is super interesting! The same with Tetsuko no Heya, so proud of Kei-chan, showing his kindness since little <3 Happy to know many are seeing Shige's play. And Yamapi talking about Tego, I'm not ok ;w; <3
