• On November 12th it was announced that NEWS will appear on the program ‘Songs of Tokyo’ to be broadcast on NHK WORLD TV on January 1–2. It will also be broadcast on NHK General TV on January 8. (Source)




• For the Friday, November 17th episode of Shonen Club Premium, Massu will be producing the Premium show. NEWS will also perform a new song with a ‘HIPHOP’ theme. (Source)

  • Koyama was briefly mentioned in Tamamori’s jweb, where Tamamori said they’re filming that day and Koyama’s super energetic as always.

  • Koyama updated to talk about filming his drama and said that he recently went out to eat with Tama and Furukawa. He also mentioned that we’ve reached the midway point of the drama. He included a picture of his hand holding his glasses.

  • He wrote to wish Tegoshi a happy birthday, and said that he was thinking of buying him a bunch of socks as a present. He said he would do what he could so that Tegoshi could keep running without looking around him because he has the most fun watching Tegoshi have fun.

  • Massu wrote about how that was the 19th anniversary of him entering Johnny’s and how his life changed that day. He thanked everyone and said he’d do his best.

  • Koyama wrote about filming for Chikarauta, and said that he asked an audience member what he should post a picture of and they said the mole on his neck so he included a picture of the mole on his neck.

  • Koyama wrote about the 4th episode of his drama airing. He also said that he was currently in the middle of a job with NEWS and that it was the last day of Tegoshi being 29. He included a picture of Tegoshi’s sunglasses with both their hands.

  • NOTE: this is probably a play for Tegoshi’s name, as if you add 2 dots on “koshi” in hiragana characters, it’ll be read as “goshi”. Which is probably why Massu had the comma in between “te” and “koshi”, to make sure that all the elements needed to make up Tegoshi’s name were there

  
  

  • Massu wrote that his back is finally feeling better and apologized for worrying fans about it on SCP saying he’ll be dancing a lot in the next broadcast.
    
    
    
    He also brought up how he broke his wrist while practicing for Tegomass’ tour, and how it made him think how bones seem strong but are actually weak. He then equated the phrase ‘strong but are actually weak’ to Tegoshi, and wished him a happy birthday.

  
  

• It was announced on Shige’s radio show on November 5th that Shige’s next novel, ‘Tuberose de Matteru’, will be released next month. With a total of 530 pages, it’ll be released in two volumes. (Source)




• On 8 Nov, Massu was mentioned in the afternoon show of Nakamarukun no Tanoshii Jikan 2. Nakamaru said that Massu visited him during the rehearsals and said he’d go watch. To that, Nakamaru replied that he’d call Massu when he’s confident enough. He wonders if Massu will seriously not show up if he doesn’t contact him at all. (Source)




• On 9 Nov, Juyo Sankonin Tantei’s official twitter posted a photo of Koyama’s bag, saying that a strap of TV Asahi’s mascot, Go-chan was hanging from the bag, together with “a certain yellow, round & cute mascot. (Source)

  • MADE mentioned Tegoshi during their show that took place on his birthday. They mentioned among other anniversaries that it was Tegoshi’s birthday. Taiga was wondering if Tegoshi would come see their show that day and Tomioka counter that of course he wouldn’t because he was busy. They also performed many NEWS songs in their show.   • Kyomoto Taiga mentioned in his opening greetings of Shonentachi that took place on the 11th that that day was Tegoshi’s birthday and said the spoken lines from Chankapaana. (Source)

• There are some photos of Tegoshi on instagram, one from the fire artist from ItteQ, and the other likely from filming for the 12th Nov episode of Soccer Earth/ CWC coverage, since the post mentioned he was interviewing Honda Keisuke (Source 1 2)




• NEWS was mentioned during the second performance by MADE at Johnny’s Jr. Wangan LIVE on 12th Nov, when Fukushi said that he’s only close to NEWS out of all the debut groups (Source)
