NEWS will be performing ‘LPS’ on the 2 hour Music Station Special that will air on January 12th. (Source)

Naniwabushi - Kiriyama (Jan 2)
- Kiriyama wrote in his jweb about how Tsuka-chan (ABC-Z) and Massu swapped costumes for the preview shot for JCD before the actual show started. It begin with Tsuka-chan asking Massu to lend him his costume during the rehearsal. And even though the rest of NEWS ignored him during the rehearsal, Massu was still nice enough to ask if he still wanted to do it during the actual run, and they did...but Massu did not get shot into the CM cut so no one could really tell they swapped costumes. Kiriyama thanked Tsuka-chan for making him laughed lots.

NEWSRING (Jan 3)
- It was Koyama’s turn to update this week
- He wished everyone a happy new year and talked how he hasn’t been leaving his house much and is spending his time relaxing with Milk and how it makes him happy. Besides hatsumode (first shrine visit of the year) he has spent new years at home.

Masuda Takahisa no Marumaru (Jan 3)
- Masuda Takahisa’s first Marumaru in 2018
- He wished everyone a happy new year, and asked if everyone had watched Countdown and CDTV. He apologized saying that their performance of ‘LPS’ during Countdown was a little messy, but said that he was happy that they got to perform a 15th anniversary medley and since ‘Ame no Melody’. He said he would work hard this year too, and asked that we watch everything.

Katsuji Ryo, an actor and voice actor, apparently talked about going to Amami Oshima over the New years holiday with Shige on the radio. They spent the time fishing, and he told a story about how he got recognized but Shige didn’t. He also posted pictures from Amami Oshima on his twitter, including one of him holding Shige’s book ‘Tuberose de Matteru’. (Source 1 2 3)

Koyama was supposed to appear on the January 5th broadcast of every, but was absent because he apparently came down with the flu. (Source)

Shusui Kosugi, lyricist, songwriter, and music producer who worked on ‘Miso Soup’, tweeted that Tegoshi would be appearing on his radio show, ‘Ashita no Ongaku’, next week on January 14th and hinted that Tegoshi sang during the recording. (Source 1 2)
