  • It was Koyama’s turn to update

  
  

  • He chose the word necchushou (heat stroke) for his word in shiritori and encouraged everyone to be careful. He said that he was happy to hear that many people were to the goods presale, but that they were worried about people waiting in the heat and to be careful. He thanked everyone for coming despite the bad weather. He ended by saying he’d do his best this weekend.

  
  



• So Good Day (Aug 13)

  
  

  • Matsushima Sou (Sexy Zone) wrote about filming the Shiroyama Kotaro Hulu spinoff episode with Tegoshi. He encouraged everyone to watch it and said that he was really nervous to watch it. He praised his co-stars including Tegoshi’s expression of emotion, he said that Kotaro was scary, a big gap from Tegoshi. He said he’s looking forward to episode 6, and told everyone who hasn’t yet to watch. He thanked all the staff and actors.
    
    He said that Tegoshi was really kind and cheerful, and that he has a lot of charm and is fun to be around. He said that Tegoshi’s Nagase story was really funny. He said that he hopes to work together again and included a picture of the two of them together.

  
  

• Further information for their upcoming single, “Ikiro”, was released on Aug 13. The previously unnamed tracks are now titled - “Bring Back the Summer” and “LVE”. It was also revealed that the song written by NEWS will be titled “Strawberry”, with the melody composed by her0ism.

• Also on “Ikiro”, orders for the 15th anniversary special box reopened on Aug 14, but closed again the same day after a few hours. It will reopen again at 10am JST on Aug 20 once they have figured out how many more copies they can add. Information on the special gift has also been updated. It will be the Tshirt that the members wore at the end of the anniversary concert, as they had suggested during the MC. (Source)




• NEWS announced during the MC on Aug 12’s concert that they will be appearing on TV Asahi’s Dream Festival, and will perform for about an hour. The official website was also updated the same night to announce that NEWS will be appearing on Sep 16. This year’s Dream Festival will be held Sep 15-17 at the Makuhari Messe International Conference Halls 9-11 in Chiba.




• It was also announced during the Aug 12 MC that Koyama’s main story in “NEWS ni Koishite” will launch Aug 22. Massu started saying he’ll play too, all three of them would play, and Koyama said if it’s the 3 of them, he’d fall for them real soon. (Source)
