• Masuda Takahisa no Marumaru (Aug 22)

  • He wrote a pretty long entry thanking everyone for the past few months. First, his play. How he worked with the best staff and cast members, apologised for sounding bad some shows and also for making so many requests. He feels it’s his responsibility too to teach everyone theatre manners so he hoped everyone would focus more on his role and the play, rather than “Masuda Takahisa”. He knows it’s just a small part of people who behaved as if they were going to a concert, and using binoculars… he doesn’t like that. He thought very long if he should write this, but decided to. And apologised again.
    He was glad to have been able to do this.
    He then wrote about the anniversary concerts. How even though they’re just regular people and so many things happened, they still got to hold concerts at such a huge venue. It must have been a miracle. He thanked everyone and said he’d work even harder to repay everyone’s love.
    He also shared how they finished recording for the songs on “Ikiro” and talked a little on the lyrics for “Strawberry”.
    He ended by saying NEWS 15th anniversary. “Congrats!” “Thanks!”

  
  



• NEWSRING (Aug 23)

  
  
  

  • It was Shige’s turn to update

  
  

  • He was late, but decided that instead of apologising he’s going to just go at his own pace.
    He wrote about filming for drama everyday from day till night, and how Tegoshi has been appearing since the previous week. He also watched Tegoshi’s spin-off and said how his story was a sad one.
    He’s now filming for Ep 8, and there’re lots of people involved. During the free time in between, he writes. He’s living everyday the best he can so much so that everything’s a blur.
    He then wrote about how he bought pears at a service area on the way back from the shoot and his love for pears. Then finished the entry by apologising for how he couldn’t make it sound more exciting, but his head wasn’t working anymore so he’ll end.

  
  



• Masuda Takahisa no Marumaru (Aug 24)

  
  
  

  • Masuda Takahisa no Kento

  
  

  • He wrote an entire entry on Sexy Zone’s Kento, how he’s known him since Kento was a junior and now he’s grown to be so cool and even built a style of his own. He mentioned going for a meal with him recently and he felt Kento’s a star. He won’t lose out to Kento though! And he’ll be supporting Sexy Zone. He ended the entry with a bunch of hashtags, talking about random stuff like how he doesn’t like Kento’s glasses without lenses, and included a shoutout to Matsushima Sou (also Sexy Zone) to do his best for 24hr TV.

  
  



• Shigeaki no Cloud (Aug 24)

  
  
  

  • He posted a photo of him in his chicken head again, under Anchor kun, asking if everyone got the quiz in Zero’s jweb right. Everyone should do it since he took that photo with the risk of becoming a tebasaki.

  
  



• KEIICHIRO (Aug 25)

  
  
  

  • He wrote about the Ajinomoto Stadium concerts, saying he’ll remember the nervousness and determination they felt before the concert started. He said the thoughts of those who wanted to go but couldn’t reached them too, and thanked everyone many times. He’ll continue to do his best.
    At the end, he reference to lyrics from “Ikiro” (“waraeru hodo…” bit) and that he’s living the moment.

  
  



• Masuda Takahisa no Marumaru (Aug 26)

  
  
  

  • Masuda Takahisa no Sou

  
  

  • This time he dedicated an entry to Sou (Sexy Zone), saying how Sou’s always going to their concerts, sending Massu his post-concert thoughts, and commenting on them in magazines. He praised Sou a bunch, then said the two of the are alike.
    Sou texted him to thank him for bringing Sou up in his previous entry, so he decided to make Sou his marumaru this time.
    He ended by saying they should go for a meal soon (treat me please!) and arigatoumarius! (a line Marius from Sexy Zone always uses).

  
  

• Vol. 72 of TV Guide PERSON, of which Massu appeared on the cover for, made it to Top 10 of Oricon’s weekly book ranking for the week of Aug 6 - 12. (Source)




• Yakumaru Hirohide wrote in his blog entry on Aug 21 that he went for BBQ with Massu, Sexy Zone’s Fuma and Kento, as well as Hikakin (famous YouTuber in Japan) the night before. (Source)




• Imai Taro, the writer for Tegomass no Radio, tweeted on Aug 25 to say that Massu went to watch “sissonne live” that day. He said he got nervous, but was glad that Massu enjoyed himself. (Source)
  (*TL note: “sissonne live” is a performance by comedian group Sissonne. Imai worked as the writer and assistant producer for this show.)




• Tanaka Kazuhiko tweeted that Shige looks good in pink, likely referring to the colour of the charity tee Shige was wearing when he appeared with the “Zero” team on 24hr TV. (Source)




• air:man tweeted on Aug 26 to say he was watching “Zero” real time and that it was interesting. (Source)
