news_jpopHi guys! Since I’m so bored, I’ll ask questions about Tegoshi Yuya. This is a survey. I just want to know your thoughts about him. So I will be asking three questions and I hope you’ll participate. Okay ready?
1. Why do you love Tegoshi Yuya?
2. How is his singing ability? Good, getting better or the other way around?
3. Who is your favorite pairing? Koyatego? Tegoshige or Tegomass? Why?

2. He has an amazing voice and an impressive vocal range! He should cover every existing song in the world!

(Koyama said that himself a few months ago in his radio show - that Tegoshi is his boyfriend and he is the girl XD)

Date: 2018-10-24 12:35 pm (UTC)Hahaha. Yeah I totally agree. I think I read about that. From what I have read from different articles, these two are always goofing around at each other. Like Tegoshi kissing him even during concerts and Koyama buying stuff for him. But what I like about Koyama is that he never gets angry at Tegoshi. I just don’t know what kind of love these two have for each other.

Date: 2018-10-25 10:54 am (UTC)2. I think his singing voice is getting better.. (just my opinion, I think his voice is too powerful and don't know how to hold down his voice in slow song (when I see him in johnny's countdown), but for a high pitch song no one can catch him)
3. TEGOSHIGEE 🤣🤣 I like it everytime they're fighting, but actually they care each other hahahaha 🤣🤣 they're the youngest in NEWS and the only kid 🤣🤣
I hope TegoShige can get more fangirls hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣

As for Tegoshige, I love how shige calls him “blondie” in Zero. Hahaha. And also when Tegoshi is with Shige, he looks dumb because Shige is a genius. Hahaha

Massu once said that they are just used to Tegoshi doing his thing and just let him be because it would be too boring if he’a not like that (not exactly the same words but the same gist). I think Shige also thinks the same way with Tegoshi especially Koyama.

Date: 2018-10-27 02:09 pm (UTC)1) Tegoshi Yuya is not my ult bias, so I can't say that I love him, but i do admire him for his strength of character. He is such a go-getter, with a really good positive outlook in life, and boundless enthusiasm for the things he is passionate about, that sometimes, I can't help but get pulled along by it. :)
2) I feel that he definitely has gotten better over the year, but also that he seem to have certain affectations in his singing style, like slurring his words, or singing from his nose.
3) My fav is koyatego..just because they're always so lovey-dovey towards each other, and I can clearly sense their deep affection for each other.

Date: 2018-10-28 01:02 am (UTC)Thank you for answering the survey. 🙂🙂 yeah! One of the best traits of Tegoshi is that he is the kind of guy who never gives up until he gets what he wants. He will work hard for it until he perfects it. That’s the kind of trait only some people have and Tegoshi is one of those some.
For his singing ability, i think he’s getting better over the years however when it comes to his vibrato, he tends to overdo it. But other than that he’s a good singer with good voice.
For the pairing, I would always prefer TEGOMASS for their singing ability. Like I always say, their voices blend with each other. But as I have noticed, there are times that it seems like Massu dislikes Tegoshi. While everybody laughs at Tegoshi, he seemed to just smile. I don’t know maybe I’m just crazy or what but I hope their relationship is good. But during their sharehouse, Massu mentioned that he is happy to have found Tegoshi because not with Tegoshi he won’t find his music (not really what he said but from what I understand).

Date: 2018-10-28 01:18 am (UTC)yes, Tegoshi's 'never give up' mentality is something that i admire because not many people have that, and i can see that it will bring him and the other NEWS members far as long as he strives with that.
I generally prefer someone with a lower voice tone, so I love Massu's voice as it has a good deep timbre to it, as compared to Tegoshi.
I do like Tegomass pairing for the same reason as you..their blended voices are really very good and sound so well together. I guess that maybe because Massu works the most with Tegoshi as they must have practiced together a lot to blend their voices so well, that sometimes Massu could have been just 'meh' with Tegoshi's antics since he has experience it so often. But I'm sure Massu don't hate Tegoshi..i think Massu has a somewhat tsundere personality when it comes to showing affection for the members.

Date: 2018-10-28 01:42 am (UTC)As I have observed, Massu is always the first one to sing in their songs. I don’t know if you notice that one but he usually sings first. Maybe because he has a soft song voice perfect to start the song and when it comes to the bridge towards the chorus Tegoshi starts his forte. Just an observation though.

Date: 2018-10-30 01:28 am (UTC)1 : I should say that what called my attention about him was is expression of confidence. Like "I know very well who I am and what I can do". Even if he is really atractive to my standars ( all of NEWS are) his expression was so good I said to myself " I have to know more about this person".
After that I found out about NEWS and how cringeworthy (and clingy) he can be sometimes, I just couldn`t help to fall for him, and that`s why he is my bias. Sometimes I bully him ( he is so cringey...like who calls their fans "konekochan"? HAHAH ) but he kind of...gives you that happy vibes.
When he talks seriously or cries you can feel his honesty too. He portrais himself as a very "real" idol, like all of NEWS. I don`t feel they fake some of their opinions or actions.
2 : His singing ability is superb. Seriously, he has to have one of the best range of all Johnny`s, and I thought that even before becoming a chanpakana in full force . His voice is so distinctive, and when combined with Koya, Massu and Shige, is a bomb.
3: TegoShige, they are like Tom and Jerry but I just....idk, love their armonies and their personalities together. KoyaTego is second in my list(?
(Ps. Can Tego x NEWS be a thing? Because I feel like sometimes I can`t choose? )

Date: 2018-10-30 03:28 am (UTC)Thank you for giving your thoughts about him. I have to agree with you on that. For me, Tegoshi is one talented man. His urge to be the best, has positive outlook in life, who brings laughter to the group, who is playful, being loved by all members most especially Koyama are the few reasons why I (we) love Tegoshi. He’s totally different from everyone. Although he has a negative side (well who doesn’t) but still we manage to love this “bratt”. I’ve got to say I’m happy to have found him. Not because of him I won’t be as motivated as now.

Date: 2018-10-30 05:29 am (UTC)That`s because I`m the youngest in my group of friends and somehow I have that kind of attitude as well. I think is inevitable at some point. He really grew up with NEWS, well the four of them grew up together basically. And somehow that can be seen and felt in their way of treating each other. That`s what caught me about them.
And yes, his energy inspires me a lot (specially now that I`m dealing with stressfull study-related stuff). I want to have his Colgate (toothpaste brand) smile please(?

1. Why I love Tegoshi Yuya?
Hmmm because he is interesting haha (and handsome ofc). I like his positive energy. He can be cringeworthy or over the top sometimes, but I still love him.
2. I am no vocal expert but I can say that I enjoy his singing a lot.
3. I ship him with anyone haha. He is really shippable that I even ship him with non member. I really can't pick my favourite ship between Tegomasu, Koyatego, or Tegoshige.
