I don't know if anyone has noticed this as well but its interesting. This is the commercial of NewS new song that is releasing next month in august.

If u take a look at the caps you will see that the little kid sticks a tag on the 8th of August month which is also 8(on the day the dvd is released)



on the next clip you see that the textbooks have 8 on them.



My guess is unlike Kanjani8 that have 8 in their name, NewS doesn't so even though they are announced as 6 its their way of saying they are actually 8. ofcourse this is just a guess but its interesting how 8 is pointed out so much unless its just that they relase a new single and dvd in August month 8. who knows.
their new dvd is also released on 8/8/2007.

The single hasn't been confirmed, it's just a rumour so far. ^^;
And... I wouldn't say that it has anything to do with NEWS. NEWS just did the theme song to the CM, they have nothing else to do with it or with its production etc.

The 8 on the books etc stands for "august" obviously. Now I don't live in Japan so I have no idea what's going on in August, but it's summer and some have vacation and so on. Maybe fireworks. Just, it's more promoting summer than anything else.
