"NEWS' members are all altruists!?"

First, about my own character... I have the feeling that I probably haven't changed ever since my first year in highschool. My friends' influence in this regard is great, but I'm generally the type who doesn't only consider himself, but rather the people around him before he takes action. It's like the opposite of egotism... how do you say it, altruism!? *laughs* My friends are all people who can push themselves hard, that's why I think I naturally adopted this way of thinking. I'm really glad that I have friends who have such a good influence on me.
I guess all the NEWS members have a part that is altruistic like that. We often help each other out or support each other, and no matter what anyone says, they give their all. Of course, there is also a part of me where I feel that I'm not like any of the others. For example, we have this really cheerful character. *laughs* I'm also cheerful, but I can't compare to that loud voice of his. *laughs* But I think this is great, that we have a lot of different characters in one group. On the other hand, the one member that is most like me, um... Ryô-chan, maybe? It's difficult to explain, but I feel that the way we think is very similar.

If I should continue to analyze my personality? I'm pretty much the type who gets pulled along by others, maybe. For example, when I'm reading a book and Masuda starts talking about something funny next to me, I start listen to it without wanting to, and before I know it I've read the same line a couple of times. *laughs* Also, when Ryô-chan is singing, I get pulled along by his voice so much that I end up singing along in a completely different pitch. *laughs* What I think about this personality? Well, isn't it okay the way it is? *laughs* For me, I'm just happy that everyone is laughing and we're having fun doing the things we do. Yeah, NEWS has a really great atmosphere right now. That's why even when we're so busy with work, we're having fun everyday, and I think it would be great if we could build on this good teamwork. Right now, we're in the middle of the volleyball world preliminaries, and I feel we'll be able to become even better friends while doing this job. By the way, while cheering the Japanese team on during the match, I've really become a fan. *laughs* I get totally fired up and am filled with the feeling that I want them to win no matter what. I think everyone in NEWS feels that way, we start getting carried away by our enthusiasm, without caring if that is work or not. This way, no matter what I do, it's important to enjoy myself while giving all that I can. If I'm really having fun then I think this feeling will get across to everyone else.

Having these feelings my days are still busy, and if I should state on thing I want to do in my private time, it would be going shopping for clothes. The clothes I want right now? It's not as if I have something specific in mind, but it's best if they suit me and look neat. Of course, if the girls fashion also looked neat and proper, that would be the best thing, yes. *laughs*


Nishikido Ryô & Uchi Hiroki
"He pulls everyone together only when he wants to go home early!?" (Nishikido)

Nishikido: "This time, we're supposed to talk about everyone's character... First, as for me, I get immediately pissed off when I'm playing a game!" *laughs*
Uchi: "That's true." *laughs*
N: "Uchi and I often play games together. And when it seems as if I'm going to lose, I immediately delete it."

N: "Thank you." *laughs*
U: "When we stay in Tokyo overnight because of our job and I end up lazing about in the mornings, you always give me a kick in the butt and tell me to hurry up."
N: "Yeah, I do... I guess?"
U: "Yes. And you always get the other members into shape, too. I don't do anything..."
N: "That's not true, I only bring everyone together when I want to go home early. *laughs* I'm like, 'hey move a little faster'."
U: "Because of your personal feelings?" *laughs*
N: "Yeah."

N: "But the way I see it, Uchi is also really serious in doing his job."
