[Discussion] How did you Uchi fans do it?

Okay I know I already posted this topic at the PB Forums but I wanted to post it here too...and hear what people on livejournal have to say...

As most of us are informed of the rather devastating news about Kusano, I have finally reazlied how Uchi fans might have felt when they first learned of Uchi's suspension. I admit it, when Uchi was suspended the news did not hurt me as much for I wasn't much of an Uchi fan, yet I feel horrible for feeling that way because I'd never suspect that the pretty boy I'd adore would go through the same. (I apologize to any Uchi fans who get offended by me saying that.)

Now I am devasted and horribly depressed. I won't eat. I won't do my homework. I can't concentrate. I try to distract myself with other things such as reading fanfics or watching KATTUN performances, but they don't really help. I just saw NEWS as a special guest for one of the Shounen Clubs that KATTUN was hosting...I just began bawling out like a baby.

I know I may appear ridiculous and stupid to some people but I have been heavily affected by the news. I am well aware that Uchi has been suspended since July so that means for about 7 months he had been shunned from the entertainment industry.

SEVEN FREAKING MONTHS.

That is incredible and TREMENDOUS amount of time. Now I just want to turn to the Uchi fans and ask this:

"How did you guys do it?"

How were you guys able to survive without Uchi's presence? Right now I feel as if I can't stand a world where Kusano's existence is not present in NEWS...it just breaks my heart to hear that NEWS went from 8 members to 6.

Really, how did you guys do it? Being able to endure so long without Uchi's presence...I just admire you guys so much for being able to do that...because I just feel so weak comapred to you guys...

I apologize to the mods if my post seem somewhat irrelevant but I just feel that as NEWS/Kusano/Uchi fans we can just pour our hearts out to each other.

Please respond if you really have something to say. I know that people have their own opinions but I want to make this a somewhat supportive, positive, respectful discussion....

Erm....seriously say... I was very very very upset.. And I didn't expect it to be this long...... but all the way... I imagine what Uchi's doing.. Imagination goes wild... think of funny things...and that manage to cheer me up... And I somehow....put faith on Mr.Kitagawa and Uchi that Uchi'll come back...

Still waiting now..eventhough there are times I had given up hope.. But then, when I see others...I put on hope again.. Ganbatte ne! Kusano will be fine! He's probably at home having fun.. Cheer up!! XD

I think that's a really nice way to cope your feelings. Hope. It's such a nice word in situations as these and seeing that there is nothing I can physically do about the situation, all I can do is hope.

I'll have to resort to time as the key of healing and hope that both Uchi and Kusano will come back together in a matter of time.

I believe in Kitagawa for bringing back Uchi...Now, you got to believe in him for bringing back Kusano too...

Erm..what can I say?

Uchi's hit hard because I never thought the Japanese media was that crazy. ^^; Even if the things actors/actresses/entertainers do are not as bad as what ppl in Hollywood, the repercussions are horrible. And I felt really bad for him, since I really liked him~

But for Kusano...well, a lot of people I've talked to said they believe him rather than some 'shitty' tabloid so..at least I'm kind of inclined to believe he really didn't do something bad, but is just being punished by Johnny unjustly. Actually, I really hope that's true. u_u;
It's such a shame though, I can't stop watching She's All Mine o.o
I guess all we can do is support him and hope NEWS makes it out of all this whole and in one piece x______X;;;

Yeah I agree, Kusano's punishment is much overexagerrated. I find it ridiculous how Johnny is going to the point of re-recording the new single and postponing their calendar. It's rather heartbreaking...:(

Yeah supporting is good. I shall support them to the end because I'm sure Uchi and kusano would still have liked that.

Uchi's my second(or third) favorite. So it suckkks.
With Uchi, it was like, "wTF!!?@!?@?!?1? WHY WOULD HE DO THIS!?!?" and it really sucked too because he was going to be in Gambatte (which Junno did great as a replacement<3) and TEPPEN had just come out so it was really sad. And he missed their NY's concert because JOHNNY EATS BABIES and.. I think its ridiculous how long he's been suspended, but Japan is different from the US. *shrugs*
With Uchi is just sucks even more because he was close to being "not underage" and now I wanna cry thinking about the fact that he's still gone and now Kusa is.

It is sad. T_T and ridiculous. Johnny really overdoes his punishments and I'm just so sorry Uchi had to go through that unfortunate fate.

I guess so too. He can catch up with his studies or something and not work too hard. I guess I can see this suspension in a somehwat positive light although I'm sad not to see him perform.

I consider myself an Uchi fan, and yet I couldn't help but feel disappointed by what he had done. I also felt sorry for him, but that didn't change the fact that he had done something quite stupid and selfish, without thinking of the rest of the groups he's in. It's well known that old man Johnny is quite strict about the drinking thing (it's not as much the media as it is the management of JE), so he should have known better. He should have spared a moment to think about the other guys - how must it have felt for Subaru and the other K8 members?

Anyway, the difference between Uchi and Kusano is that Uchi actually broke the law (even though this is arguable - since there was an adult with him who normally would be charged with the 'crime', another proof, if you will, that it really is Johnny himself who made such a grave matter out of it) and caused a public disturbance, while Kusano was just photographed with alcohol in his hand, which in itself is not a crime.

I'm not that much a fan of Kusano, I admit. And I was angry at him for being so thoughtless. After what happened with Uchi, how could he be so careless? He is an idol, he knows the repercussions. And still. My guess is that this will also have an impact on Uchi, because of course, now the japanese media drag this up again. If Uchi's suspension was meant to let things blow over, then Kusano managed to bring everything up again and effectively null the last seven months for Uchi.

NewS really has a lot of bad news. And they actually went from nine members to six, if you count Moriuchi who quit.

*sigh* I'm still gonna be NewS and K8 fan, no matter what, because they work hard to be where they are now. I'll always support them.

Yeah thats true. I understand how Uchi actually deserved his punishment and how Kusano "deserves" to be punished just because Johnny feels that this shouldn't be a matter taken so lightly...

But I find it ridiculous how Uchi's punishment was so long and now I just fear for Kusano.

FOr some reason I can't get mad at Kusano, even though I am well aware that I should, but I just can't.

NEWS is screwing up real bad right to left, I just hope that in the future there will be the time when all 8 members will finally reunite together...

I actually have a question for you: I'm not exactly clear, what happened to Kusano exactly? I heard he was suspended for drinking, and then I heard he voluntarily took leave for school. What's going on?!

A tabloid that doesn't exactly have the best reputation printed pictures of him in a (I think) a karaoke box with two girls holding what people are saying was a bottle of alcohal. Kusano said in a statement that he didn't drink anything but had the intention to do so, and the jimusho says they're gonna be investigating it, even though they've also said that they believe him. Since this is causing such a problem and since most of their fans are supposedly under age, Kusa's withdrawing from public voluntatily, though he isn't taking leave from school or anything.

I thought Uchi was only suspended for 8 months o_o So does that mean he's coming back next month? Or are my Thai forums completely misled? o_o

But yeah...I was like you, I didn't think much of Uchi's suspension because I wasn't a HUGE Uchi fan, but my best friend was, and I felt so bad for her, she was depressed a lot ;; But now it's my turn, because Kusa was my personal favorite and her second favorite, so we spent all of Tuesday crying together and I mean there were real tears >.>

NewS was my only boyband left that hadn't disbanded (besides KAT-TUN, but I have to like them secretly because my friends are suddenly against them for some comment they made about Arashi? o.O; *lost*) But yes...I want NewS whole again TT__TT

If Kusa didn't get violent or anything like Uchi did, does that mean his suspension could be for a shorter time? ;; *grabby hands*

Woah is that true? Only 8 months? WHere has your thai forum heard of that piece of information? I think it'd be wonderful for Uchi's return! Even without Kusano's (sadly) presence.

I'm praying that the suspension will be shorter but however with Uchi it feels like forever. At the moment I'm just hoping Uchi will come back real soon...and Kusano too..

I honestly have absolutely no idea where that 8 months thing came from. Maybe it was on some sort of TV show or in some teenybopper magazine? Since I don't live in Thailand anymore I've gotten very behind on the media there...Though I do have to say it wouldn't be the first time that the news could have reported something wrong about international entertainment like that. So I don't know, I wasn't positive so I figured I'd ask here first, so I take it it is just a rumor started by someone's wishful thinking? =.= *sigh*

So it's true the article was published yesterday, and they're pulling him from both the new single and the TV show TT___TT

I just hope he isn't dropped from his school TT.TT

And his suspension would HAVE to be shorter than Uchi's, na? o.O I mean...come on o_o Right? >_> *prays* TT.TT

Figured I might as well update my previous comment on that one of my close friends who still lives in Thailand informed me that several magazines and websites have been claiming that after the end of the tour in May, NEWS is done forever. My entire forum is in quite literally UTTER CHAOS.

Half of me is skeptical because...it's Thailand xD; ...but at the same time my pessimistic side is getting flustered .__. Guess we can just hope, pray, and wait, na?

Erm, with all due respect, please don't put Kusano's issue in the same category as Uchi's. The situations are quite different, and it appears that Kusa has actually voluntarily withdrawn for some time out of concern for younger fans due to this misunderstanding. So it really isn't a "suspension"... Whereas, you know, Uchi had the cops called on him. So don't worry; there's no way that Kusa will be gone for nearly so long. :D

Although, with this talk of Kusa being "suspended"... Has there been some news article in the last day or so that I've missed? ._.;

EE er sorry if my post made it seem like I was putting Kusano's issue as the same as Uchi's, I never really intended for that. I just wanted to know how Uchi fans were able to bear without his presence. Yeah I know, it may seem a bit ridiculous and childish, but all I wanted to know was how Uchi fans were able to cope and see what gave them the strength to move on without Uchi's presence in the entertainment industry.

As for the article, there have been many unconfirmed decisions going on saying how they may re-record the new single and that the release of the news calendar will be postponed. They also cut out all of Kusano's scenes in the next yayayah.

I'm just praying that they'll let Kusano continue his education in university..

I'm an 8 fan. And we held out because 8 gave us that strength and hope, seriously. Many of us cried like crazy during that period, some were confused, angry, upset and so on.. But 8 held on to him and constantly gave us fans that kind of hope and comfort.

I think most 8 fans will know what I'm talking about. やっぱり最高で最強やもん。

I just kind of miss him. When I finally got into NEWS, he had already been away for awhile, but my Japanese buddies filled me in on what I had been resisting. So I'm just so frustrated that he's not there! He's so hot!!
