NEWS will stop activity (temporaly, not forever ) after the tour till the end of the year .. so after May they will stop.. but it seem that the solo projects will continue (like droamas and so)...

　人気グループ「ＮＥＷＳ」の未成年メンバーの１人が飲酒したと報道された問題で、所属先のジャニーズ事務所は３日、５月から年内の同グループの活動を休止すると発表した。
　同事務所は飲酒の事実については「調査中」としているが「事態を重く受け止め、ある意味連帯責任があると判断した」と休止を決めたという。
　同グループが３月下旬から４月末まで全国５カ所で開くコンサートツアーは、このメンバーを除いた６人で行う。ツアー終了後、個人としての活動は続ける。
　この問題は、未成年のメンバーが飲酒していたとする写真が雑誌などに掲載。本人は飲酒を否定しているが、同事務所は「誤解を招くような行動があった」として当面、このメンバーの活動自粛を決めている。

To surmmerise. They will have tour in March - April and release CD in March. But both tour and CD will only have 6 members. Also whole group will go on "selfreflection" period (as in tempory volunteer withdraw), but solo projects will continue. Their won't be any NEWS activity within this year after May.

they will be back with so much more power than ever and all of them...

we have to be positive... and keep supporting them no matter what .

Honestly, I'm kind of happy, in a grim, depressing way. I think I'd rather have them on hyatus for a little while than go on without Uchi and Kusano...at least they're not trying to replace them or anything...and they're still goign to keep themselves busy with their solo stuff so it's not like they're going to COMPLETELY disappear >_> And they'll be back before we know it, na...? Or maybe I'm still too emotionally drained from the loss of Kusa that this is only a numb blow you know? TT.TT

....But wait, if that means they're going to go on hyatus at the end of May...that neither Kusa nor Uchi will still be gone, all through May...and a long time after that...? .__________. Of ALL groups it just HAD to be NewS, didn't it? *sigh*

when they are back its whole News and sure we gonna miss them, especially because i loved the recent Shounenclub episodes with them *________*

But when they are back they have their full power, are a little bit older, and the important thing they have more time for things they should do in their youth, to go to university and have fun...

(when they dont have too many solo projects)

and as long we can watch then in their doramas *___*
and perhaps they will continuing to be guests in different johnnys shows???

I'm really sad about them stopping there activities after may, but when I get them back as a group of 8 after this 7 month, I'm totally fine with it!

Just want them to return, and if they won't Johnnys will be in big trouble, because I will get very angry then, and they surly don't want THAT!

They're still just kids. But I guess it'll be okay if they have solo projects... But half a year is so long T___T. I wonder if they'll be ok with all this. I'm just glad they'll come back eventually with 8 members~

I pray for them with all my heart and that they'll come down to a proper solution and get out of this. It can't get any worse than this or I'll cry TT__TT.

I was pretty calm when I first heard about this, but sitting here for the last 20 minutes thinking and thinking I am getting more emotional...

I guess I'm really sad I won't be seeing them. Sure, Ryo and YamaPi will still be there, but I'm more worried/interested in other members...Massu, Shige, Tegoshi, etc. They're not as active as the other members and I don't know...Massu isn't even attending university. I hope he will have something to do to occupy his time.

I'm going to try and stay positive though because I have to be. I have to believe that I'll be as much as a NEWS fan as I am now for when they return. They need our support now more than ever.

This week has been an emotional rollercoaster...
